What It Does

Anonymizer detects every face in a video frame and replaces it with a realistic AI-generated identity, without cutting the shot or requiring manual masking. The synthetic faces are matched to the original subject’s gender, ethnicity, and approximate age, so the result reads as believable while completely removing the real person’s identity.

It’s built for situations where real faces can’t appear on screen: documentary interviews with protected sources, journalistic footage, clinical or research video, crowd shots in commercials, or any project where consent or privacy is a concern.

Key Features

AI Face Replacement. The core feature. Automatically detects and swaps all faces in a clip using a face-swapping model that preserves expressions, motion, and lighting. No keyframing or manual tracking required.

Automatic Face Blurring. Tracks faces through an entire clip and applies a blur that follows subjects as they move. Useful when AI replacement isn’t needed and a quick, broadcast-safe blur will do.

Pixelization. Classic broadcast-style pixel masking with adjustable intensity. Works for anything from light obscuring to full identity removal.

Stackable methods. All three approaches can be layered. You can run an AI face swap and add blur on top for additional coverage, which matters in high-stakes privacy situations.

Who It’s For

Documentary editors protecting source identities, journalists working with sensitive footage, and post-production teams handling footage where subjects didn’t provide clearance are the primary audience. It’s also practical for research institutions, medical video, or any commercial production that needs crowd footage without identifiable faces.

The plugin works across Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Nuke, covering most professional editing environments.
