What It Does
Neural Enhancement Suite is a GPU-accelerated AI plugin for Premiere Pro and After Effects that tackles video quality problems that traditional tools handle poorly. It runs entirely locally on your machine, no cloud processing required, and covers five distinct enhancement tasks: superresolution, denoising, deblurring, low-light recovery, and colorization.
Key Features
Superresolution. Two AI models for upscaling footage up to 16x the original pixel count. Useful for rescuing archive footage, punching in on 4K, or delivering higher-resolution output from lower-res source material.
Denoising. Recovers fine detail from footage with heavy sensor noise, particularly useful for high-ISO or low-light camera work where grain has obscured texture.
Deblurring. Reduces motion blur from shaky or fast-moving shots. Not a replacement for in-camera technique, but can salvage footage that would otherwise be unusable.
Low-light enhancement. Brings up underexposed footage while preserving contrast. The model is specifically trained to avoid the flat, washed-out look that comes from simple brightness lifting.
Colorization. Two modes are available: hint-based colorization lets you paint color cues on a reference frame and propagate them across a shot, while example-based colorization grades or colorizes footage by matching the look of a reference image. Both are useful for restoring black-and-white archival footage or applying a stylized look.
Who It’s For
Editors working with archival or historical footage will find the superresolution and colorization tools most relevant. Cinematographers or documentary editors who regularly work with available-light footage will get mileage out of the denoising and low-light models. The suite is also practical for anyone who needs to deliver 4K or higher output from 1080p source clips.
On the hardware side, you need an NVIDIA GPU with at least 8GB VRAM on Windows, or Apple Silicon with macOS Sequoia or newer and at least 16GB RAM on Mac. CPU fallback exists but runs significantly slower. Other Windows and older macOS configurations are not fully supported.
A fully functional trial is available, with a blue cross watermark applied to output until licensed. This lets you verify GPU compatibility before buying.
Pricing
Neural Enhancement Suite is a one-time purchase at $79.99 for a Single User License, which covers installation on up to two computers used non-simultaneously. Floating Server and Render-Only licenses are also available. No subscription is required. Upgrade pricing may be available for prior owners upon login.
