What It Does

Transition Master 2 Pro is a native transition plugin for Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve. It lets you apply pre-built transition presets directly on the timeline, build your own transitions from scratch, and export or sell them. Transitions behave like native effects in each host application, so you get drag-and-drop placement without workarounds.

A free Basic version ships with 5 presets and lets you apply transitions created by others. The Pro version unlocks the full creation toolkit.

Key Features

Image Driven Transitions. New in version 2, this maps a transition effect to the tone values of any image. White areas transition first, black areas last, giving you precise control over how and where a transition unfolds across the frame.

Transform tools. Per-clip control over offset, scale, rotation, tilt, and skew, with ping-pong options for offset and rotation.

Grid system. Apply a grid to any transition with control over cell count, center position, scale, rotation, radial offset, and cropping. Useful for tile-style wipes and fragmented cuts.

Time Remap. Map how each transition component plays out over time. Set remap start and end points, bias, smoothing, fill mode, and direction mode independently for blend, scale, rotation, offset, and grid.

Post Processing. Add tint, hue shift, saturation, brightness, contrast, shake, blur, or pixelization as part of any transition. Shake frequency and amplitude are independently adjustable.

Full Ease Control. Pro includes separate ease settings for scale, rotation, offset, tilt, grid parameters, post processing, and blend. Basic only offers overall ease speed adjustment.

Multi-platform presets. Build a transition in After Effects, export it, and use it in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. Preset files transfer across all supported hosts.

Share and sell. Pro licenses allow you to export presets and distribute or sell them. The Basic plugin can import and use any Pro-created preset.

Editors who want transitions that go beyond Premiere Pro’s built-in options will find the 40+ included presets a solid starting point. Motion designers who want to build and package custom transitions for clients or for sale will get the most out of the Pro creation tools. The text and graphics support also makes it practical for lower thirds, title cards, and subtitle animations.
