What It Does
Looper Pack 2 is a collection of 40 black-and-white animated texture mattes, each rendered at 4K (3840 x 2160). These are hand-crafted loops designed to be dropped onto compositions and blended over footage, shapes, or type using modes like Multiply, Add, or Overlay. The result is an organic, textured look that would otherwise require building frame by frame from scratch.
The pack is compatible with both After Effects and Premiere Pro, and comes from The Drawing Room, the studio behind the original Looper Pack.
Key Features
40 unique texture loops. Organized into four sets of ten, each loop runs one second at 24fps and is set on the twos, meaning each frame repeats once. This gives the animations a hand-drawn, slightly staggered feel rather than a smooth digital motion.
Three format options. You can buy the pack as QuickTime movies (ProRes 422), uncompressed PNG sequences, or a pre-made After Effects project file set up for Ray Dynamic Texture. The AEP version is the most plug-and-play option if you already use that workflow.
Time Remapping support. All loops work with Time Remapping in After Effects, so you can slow them down or speed them up to match the pacing of a project. A Curves effect can also be applied directly to the looper layers to adjust brightness values and control how much texture bleeds through.
More dynamic content than Pack 1. The original Looper Pack focused on grain and grit basics. Pack 2 goes further with more varied and animated patterns, including irregular hatching, wavy forms, and abstract organic motion. Each loop has a deliberately silly name.
Who It’s For
Motion designers and editors who want to add tactile, hand-crafted texture to type treatments, graphic elements, or footage overlays. Particularly useful for title cards, lower thirds with a raw aesthetic, and stylized sequences where a clean digital look feels too sterile. Works in Premiere Pro directly, though the Ray Dynamic Texture integration is After Effects-specific.
