What It Does
PQ Grit Kit 2 is a curated library of over 160 animated, macro-photographed textures designed for blending into motion graphics and video projects. Drop them onto footage as luma mattes, layer them over type or shape layers, or use them for displacement in Cinema 4D. In Premiere Pro, they work as standard media clips you can blend directly into your timeline.
The textures cover everyday materials like paper, ink, concrete, wood, sand, and paint, plus a Los Angeles neighborhood category and some deliberately strange additions like glitter, ketchup, and tortilla. Each clip is a two-second ProRes 422 file that loops naturally at 12 FPS, giving that low-frame-rate boil effect common in handcrafted motion work. In After Effects, you can adjust the loop length or frame rate via the Interpret Footage dialog.
