What It Does

Random Wiggler brings wiggle() and random() expression-style animation to Premiere Pro through a dedicated panel, no coding or expressions required. You get direct control over shake, smooth wiggle, flickering, and camera movement using sliders and dropdowns instead of writing a single line of code.

Key Features

Wiggle() controls. Set frequency, amplitude, octaves, and octaves multiplier to dial in the feel of your motion. Amplitude and frequency can themselves be animated, added in version 1.1.0.

Random() controls. Define a value range, the interval between keyframes, and keyframe type. Useful for flickering lights, jittery title animations, or any effect that needs irregular movement.

Loop animation. Once you have a wiggle pattern you like, loop it so it repeats across the full clip without manually extending keyframes.

Preset saving. Save any combination of settings as a named preset. There’s no limit on how many you can store, which helps when you’re reusing a specific camera shake across a project.

Keyboard shortcuts. Assign shortcuts to frequently used presets or actions for faster application during the edit.

Who It’s For

Editors who want expression-driven motion animation without leaving Premiere Pro or opening After Effects. Particularly useful for action edits that rely on camera shake, documentary work needing subtle handheld feel, or motion graphics that call for text flicker and jitter effects.

Compatible with Premiere Pro 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.
