What It Does

Premiere Pro has no native way to import SVG files. SVG2Premiere solves that by converting SVG files to high-resolution transparent PNGs on the fly and dropping them straight into your project panel. The whole process takes a few seconds: open the panel, choose where you want the files saved, and drag your SVGs in.

Key Features

Drag and drop conversion. Drop one or more SVG files into the panel and they convert automatically to 4000px transparent PNGs, preserving transparency so they work cleanly over any background.

Batch processing. Multiple SVGs can be converted in one go, which saves time when bringing in icon sets, illustration assets, or graphics packages.

Flexible output paths. Choose to save converted PNGs to your Documents folder, your current Premiere project folder, or a custom path of your choosing. Files are automatically imported into the Project panel after saving, so there is no extra import step.

Who It’s For

Useful for editors who regularly work with SVG assets from designers or stock libraries. Motion graphics editors incorporating icon sets or vector illustrations into Premiere timelines will benefit most. It also covers anyone who wants to avoid manually exporting SVGs to PNG in Illustrator or another app before bringing them into Premiere.

Compatible with Premiere Pro 2022 through 2026.
